Special Education Services

Special education means specially designed instruction to address the unique needs of a child with a disability, including academic support in the general education classroom, skill development services provided for part or all of the school day, and life skill development as appropriate. The UnBOCES makes available special education and related services for the education of any child between the ages of 3-21 who is found eligible following the formal evaluation process.
